[Open-FCoE] Unable to download open-fcoe source code due to proxy

Hi
I want to download the 
open-fcoe-misc.git,open-fcoe.git,open-fcoe-upstream.git from 
open-fcoe.org. But currently I am behind proxy,so I am not able to 
download because git request is not going to the proxy server. I have 
set the gitproxy variable in /etc/gitconfig as

/# Proxy settings/

/      [core]/

/            gitProxy="http://uname:pwd@proxy.hostname.com:port_no" for 
"open-fcoe.org"/

/            gitProxy=default-proxy ; for the rest//
/

But it says bad config file, so what should gitproxy contain so that 
request will go through proxy?

Or is there any other way so that I can download the source code from git?
